The idea behind No Obvious Wrong came from a Brian Andreas story titled "Teaching Right" A good friend introduced me to Storypeople many years ago, and this is one of my favorites.
I see people stress out all the time about doing the "right" thing. Sometimes, they stress out so much that they don't do ANYTHING, for fear it's not the right thing. I think this is especially true when it comes to making decisions about their kids, and I understand - we want to do what is best.
However, if we sometimes make a choice that isn't right - or the best - that's okay too. It proves to everyone, children included, that we are only human. You know, it might even help us learn to roll with the punches, explore new paths, and meet new friends.
Enjoy!
