Just because I didn't write about it doesn't mean it didn't happen!
I was up with the birds on Friday and got my 3.5 miles in.
I planned to sleep in on Saturday and go to UCLA with the family to see the campus while my husband took a final. That didn't happen, and I didn't run that morning, either. I was all ready to get LittleMan in the jogging stroller, and Kiddo on her bike, but I didn't have to. Luckily, my Father-in-law came into town that afternoon, so I was able to go on a 4.5 mile run solo (yay!) - then had date night (double yay!)
Sunday was soccer. We came back from 5-2, went ahead 6-5 with 50 seconds to go, and ended up tied 6-6 (so close!) It was amazing being able to play, and not HAVING to sub because I was sucking wind. I instead CHOSE to sub so that everyone could play.
This week, I'm back to the 5am wake up call. I was kind of hoping it would rain yesterday, but the rain had pretty much passed.
It's always nice once I get out there - birds singing, sun starting to come up. I live in a beautiful place, that's for sure.
