Things that made me smile today (April 29, 2011)

• Taking Kiddo on her Kindergarten field trip to the zoo.



• Driving one of her friends on the field trip.



• Listening to the two of them talk about Hollywood.



• I asked them why Hollywood was so exciting. They said "famous people live there. Singers and dancers and stuff"



• Asking the friend where she lives, and getting the following response: "From school, you go straight, and then you turn, and then you go a little bit more and turn some more times". I asked her what street she lives on, but she doesn't know.



• Hearing the two of them "tricking" me from the back seat. They told me there's a new girl in school named Krista Rona Maniah, and her mom's name is Dandelion. Her favorite color is purple, and she has 3 sisters. Then they made up a new boy, and a class Parrott. I think the cutest part of it all was that they really thought I hadn't caught on.



• Seeing LittleMan when dropping Kiddo off after school, and getting one of his fabulous grins.
